Maggie turns one, top 10 of 2007

We spent most of Saturday in Sacramento, for my god-daughter Maggie’s First Birthday celebration! She is totally in charge. Highlights included the venue (historic Espanol’s Italian Dinners), the Marilyn Monroe shrine/mirror in the men’s bathroom (see below for photographic evidence), Maggie’s first cake, visiting Bows & Arrows for Second Saturday, catching up with Erik & Sarah, a tense boardgame, and driving up and down Broadway looking for the Superbad DVD. Click here for more unbearable cuteness!

Very mellow Sunday: layed around with the kitties watching Superbad DVD extras, Predator, and Kill Bill on Spike (which was hilariously edited for TV).

Busy week ahead!
Thursday: run sound for the Mike Therieau Band at House of Shields
Friday: happy hour at B Bar, as always
Saturday: drive Olivia around Oakland to look for great signs for her next art project, then my Aunt Teenie’s famous Holiday Party in Berkeley

Here are my Top Ten Albums Of 2007:

1. Feist – The Reminder
2. Band Of Horses – Cease To Begin
3. St Vincent – Marry Me
4. Sea Wolf – Leaves In The River
5. Spoon – Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga
6. Elvis Perkins – Ash Wednesday
7. MIA – Kala
8. Wilco – Sky Blue Sky
9. Jose Gonzalez – In Our Nature
10. Radiohead – In Rainbows
