ABOUT

I am a native of South Louisiana (Livingston Parish, if you must know), now living in San Francisco.

I work in user experience & interaction design, with a background in library science & new media. I currently work with Monitise as a mobile product analyst, creating mobile payment & money management experiences for Visa. Previously, I was an interaction designer at Eveo, a medical mobile app development shop, and before that, large digital agency called Isobar in San Francisco, working in marketing & commerce for the web.

Before entering the world of user-centered design, I worked for university libraries, helping users solve complex research problems, and developing new methods to present electronic information resources to the ever-changing needs of the academic community. I find personal fulfillment in helping users reach their information goals. If you’d like to see what I do, please head over to the Work section.

I am inspired by effective information organization, community-building, music of many forms, and especially… bacon. I am a grad student at Academy of Art University, where I am doing my thesis work: a cloud application for independent musicians called Road Case. You can check in on my progress at theĀ Road CaseĀ Blog.
